My kinetic sculptures reveal an interest in interactivity between autonomous artworks, using motion and sound, at the same time bringing an awareness of solar energy. Powered by the sun, these pieces sleep by night and dance and sing through the day, following the rhythm of our planet.

Microprocessors, motors and wireless communication enable my pieces to animate themselves in improvisational ways, without external control. Current work is toward the development of group or "flocking" behaviors in larger numbers of critters.
